About the D-Man
I have been doing Custom McFarlane figure since 2004. I first got started when I purchased a custom of Hines Ward in his Super Bowl uniform. At first I did not understand that is was a custom or even what a custom figure was. I thought it was an original McFarlane figure. Fortunately that was far from the truth. The custom job that was done was not done very well so I said to my wife and myself, "I can do better than this." So that is where it all began. After many Ebay auctions later I decided to build a web site and start taking orders that way. Selling figures on Ebay was fun but as with any auction there is no telling how much they were going to go for. After getting a lot of feedback, most very positive but some negative as well, I decided to set up this web site and take orders that way.
